Market Timing Alert: BEARISH

Today was a huge down day on big volume, and it throws my bullish outlook out the window. I got it wrong. Two out of three of my primary technical indicators are now bearish, including my NASDAQ Timing Model, which gave a bearish signal at today's close.

A few days ago I wrote that "the market has been responding well lately to bad news". Not anymore. Today we learned about rising unemployment claims in the U.S., and wham, the sellers had a field day.

The trend is down. Let's not fight the trend.
