This decision to sell today was a judgment call. Here's my thinking: We have a fabulous gain in this stock; I will want to sell before earnings come out in about a week and a half (I generally prefer to avoid the additional risk of holding a stock through their earnings news day); and today is looking like a down day, the first after a series of all-time highs.
