Market Commentary

Market Stance: BULLISH (since October 31, 2005)

Last week, once again, the market was up, and Deen Capital accounts were up more. The rally which began in late October has been unstoppable, and we are well positioned to profit from it.

More good news last week supports the notion that this rally could persist at least through the end of the year. We have improving consumer sentiment, an excellent start to the holiday shopping season, falling gasoline prices, and hints from the Fed that an end to the long cycle of rate hikes may be near. Also, we are still in the seasonally strong (for stocks) November through January period.

I remain alert for signs of an important top, as I re-evaluate market conditions daily, but right now I see no such sign. My three primary technical indicators remain unanimously and unambiguously bullish. We are in the sweet spot.
