Market Commentary
Market Stance: BULLISH (since October 31, 2005)
The market made a decisive move higher last week on unusually heavy
volume. Best of all, growth stocks are leading the way. Deen Capital
accounts handily outperformed the Dow and the S&P.
Market conditions have made a dramatic turn for the better. My three
primary technical indicators are now unanimously and solidly bullish. No
ambiguity here.
Perhaps, dare we hope, this could be the start of a year-end rally. Our
accounts are now quite aggressively postured. The statistical volatility
of our present portfolio is about twice that of the S&P 500.
I am expecting further gains ahead. 2005 could yet turn out to be a good
year for us. (Of course, as always, my stance is subject to change
without notice as I re-evaluate market conditions daily.)
