Year-To-Date Performance
* An average of managed accounts, net after commissions and fees. Individual account results may vary. See also www.deencapital.com/perform.htm. For information on managed accounts, see www.deencapital.com/mgdaccts.htm.
* The net buy (sell) price is the total net cost (proceeds) after commissions for all managed accounts divided by the total number of shares. I sold DIOD today because: - Of the last five days in which this stock had an increase in volume (versus the day before), all five were down days. This is a technical warning sign. - The stock closed lower than it opened in eight of the past ten trading sessions. This is another technical warning sign. - I went into today's trading session with an eye toward possibly doing some pre-emptive selling. I am worried about a possible market top, as I discussed in my weekly status report over the weekend. -KD, November 22, 2004

I sold FFIV today because: - This stock is trading below its 20-day moving average today, for the first time since August. This is a minor technical warning sign. - I went into today's trading session with an eye toward possibly doing some pre-emptive selling. I am worried about a possible market top, as I discussed in my weekly status report over the weekend. -KD, November 22, 2004
* The net buy (sell) price is the total net cost (proceeds) after commissions for all managed accounts divided by the total number of shares. I sold ZQK today because: - This stock had a big up day on very heavy volume last Wednesday, which carried the stock to yet another in a series of all-time highs. And yet, I notice that the stock closed that day 38c below its opening price. This, plus the fact that the price has been falling since then, suggests a possible top. - I went into today's trading session with an eye toward possibly doing some pre-emptive selling. I am worried about a possible market top, as I discussed in my weekly status report over the weekend. -KD, November 22, 2004
